Description: 発表者は大学生のバイリンガルの辞書使用に関するクオリタティブな研究の結果を紹介する。

和英、英和辞典（紙の辞書、電子辞書、オンライン辞書）が上級の日本語学習者(JFL)、英語学習者(ESL)によりどのように使われるかということに焦点をあてる。発表ではJFL対象の結果のみが紹介、考察される。

Dr. Okuyama will introduce the results of a qualitative study on bilingual dictionary usage of college students. The study focused on how Japanese-English/English-Japanese dictionaries (paper, electronic, and online) are used by advanced Japanese as a foreign language (JFL) and advanced ESL learners. Only the results of the JFL subjects will be introduced and discussed during the presentation. The presentation will be in English, but the Q&A session will be in English and/or Japanese. The presentation is co-sponsored by the Kyoto JALT Chapter and the JALT JSL SIG.
