Joining or Renewing Your Membership

Credit Card (VISA, MasterCard & JCB/AmEx) users only

Join JALT or renew your membership using our secure online payment form. Information for other payment options (non-credit card) is available in our membership section.

Note that for membership renewals, your renewal will become effective after your current membership expires. If you renew in advance, you will not lose out on your previous membership period.

5-year SIG membership is priced at 10,000 yen per SIG.

Note to JCB/AmEx users: Due to JCB/AmEx user policies, we are NOT able to accept 5-year SIG membership registrations using these cards. We apologise for any inconvenience here.

Please note the following:

  • The 5-year SIG membership is only available in conjunction with the 5-year JALT membership option.
  • If you select this option without also choosing the 5-year JALT membership option, you will be given a 1-year SIG membership at the regular, 2,000 yen rate.
  • Your SIG memberships expire at the same time as your JALT membership.

Select the SIGs you wish to join and click on the "Select Membership Option" button to add the SIG to your registration order.
