We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your support in organizing the JALT2021 online again this year as last year. We apologize for the heavy traffic on the first day of the conference, which made it difficult to access to the site for a couple of hours. Associate Members who exhibited at the online EME will receive a discount on the EME participation fee (please see below). We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.

 

EME Survey

We are reviewing operations and discussing how best to capitalize on what took place. In order to keep striving for a better JALT international conference, we appreciate your feedback. Please take a moment to complete this survey so we can improve the JALT EME.

The survey page will remain open until Monday, December 13, 2021. If you have any questions or comments about anything, do not hesitate to contact us.

 

EME Fee Discount

As mentioned above, the conference website was inaccessible for a few hours on the first day due to heavy traffic, and we apologize to all exhibitors for the inconvenience. Therefore, the exhibition fee will be reduced by 25 percent from 50,000 yen to 37,500 yen. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused all of you.

 

Number of Participants

The total number of participants to the JALT2021 conference was 1,147, of which 960 were paid attendees. Below is the number of accesses to the online EME.

*Average time = Total duration of all sessions (in seconds) / The number of sessions.

*A bounce is calculated specifically as a session that triggers only a single request to the Analytics server, such as when a user opens a single page on your site and then exits without triggering any other requests to the Analytics server during that session.

 

How to Retrieve Quick Contact Messages

The edzil.la site has graciously decided to leave the JALT2021 EME site open for 6 months. If a participant returns to the EME and your EME site, they have the opportunity to contact you. It is labeled, "Quick Contact." For example:

Then the user will click the "quick Contact" link and this message will appear:

After the message is written and "send" is clicked, the persons registered to the AM site as admins / organization personnel (you can see this list in the edit page of your EME site):

The admin will get a notification of a message. The admin must then go to the edzil.la site to retrieve the messages. When the admin enters the edzil.la site for the JALT2021 EME. This will appear:

Please check the edzil.la site from time to time just in case the notification is placed in your spam folder.

昨年に引き続き、今年もJALT2021のオンライン開催にご協力をいただきましたことに心より御礼を申し上げます。大会初日はアクセスが集中し、数時間にわたりアクセスしづらい状況となりましたことをお詫び申し上げます。なおオンラインEMEに出展された会員の皆様には、EME参加費の割引が適用されます（下記をご参照ください）。ご迷惑をおかけしましたことを心よりお詫び申し上げます。

EME出展料金の割引

前述いたしました通り、初日の数時間アクセスが集中したために大会ウェブサイトにアクセスできず、出展者の皆様にはご迷惑をおかけしました。つきましては出展料を50,000円から37,500円へと25％減額させていただきます。あらためまして皆様にご迷惑をおかけしたことをお詫び申し上げます。

 

大会参加者数

JALT2021大会の参加者総数は1,147名、そのうち有料参加者は960名でした。オンラインEMEへのアクセス数は以下の通りです。
