Description: Today, knowledge of more than one foreign language can be considered a must for everybody who wants to enter society. In Germany, like in most European countries, there are ample opportunities to efficiently study whichever language you want, get introduced to the country and its culture, and sooner or later, study abroad too. The speaker has used some of these opportunities, and pursued his studies and research in Japan and England as well as in his own country. He will talk about his experiences, compare them to possibilities in Japan, and try to give some hints for effective study. Questions about any aspect of study as well as about his country will be most welcome!

Description: Taiwan was colonized by Japan from 1895 to 1945 because the defeat from the Chin Dynasty to the end of the war with Japan. Even these days, almost all those who have studied at the primary schools for a couple years still can speak fluent Japanese. Different from Mainland China, most of Taiwanese are pro-Japan.
Taiwan has been democratized for twenty years since 1987, and is one of the most developing countries in Asia. Although there is no diplomatic relation between Japan and Taiwan, yet both countries have been conducting a wide variety of cultural exchanges and economic cooperation.
I would like to introduce the history, politics, customs, life events, sightseeing spots, etc about Taiwan. Also, having twenty-one years of experiences with Japan, I would like to express some of my opinions concerning Japan and Taiwan.
