The opening lecture, Gender and Leadership: Some Socio-Pragmatic Considerations, will be given on Oct. 6 by Professor Janet Holmes (Linguistics Chair, Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand). On Sunday October 7 various paper presentations/discussions will be held as well as a closing panel discussion led by Prof. Holmes.
