TEVAL in collaboration with the Gunma chapter of JALT will hold an online presentation with Jerry Talandis Jr. on Sunday, August 21, 2pm.

Professional Certificate in Language Testing

"For anyone interested in learning more about language assessment, I can highly recommend this online course at Melbourne University. As well as topics such as writing test specifications and item writing, it covers assessment-for-learning and issues of test fairness and test consequences. You do need to have basic Excel ability, but you do not need to have a background in statistics or psychometrics, it's aimed at classroom teachers without formal training in test development. Applications for the next course starting in July close 27 June." Trevor Holster - TEVAL SIG

TEVAL Talk Time

From this year, we will begin holding a monthly, informal online get together on ZOOM for TEVAL Members. This is a chance to get to know each other more and to share experiences, news, and ideas related to testing and assessment. Details of each month’s meeting and a link will be sent by email. Please keep an eye out for any messages received from us concerning the details of the meeting link. If you haven't received one, please inform us at teval@jalt.org. We look forward to welcoming you!
